Bromfield WWII AircraftFascinating information and exciting personal stories about aviation during the War, related to your pupils by an RAF veteran. There is a large collection of aviation memorabilia recovered from crashed wartime aircraft carried out within strict Ministry of Defence guidelines. The wide diversity of the exhibits will fascinate all groups regardless of age or ability. There are engines, including a complete Merlin from a Mosquito which crashed locally (Wavendon) in 1945, allied and German aircraft remains. Your guide will be there to show and explain the displays and the significance of various objects. The wide array of objects will aid study of English, Design & Technology and History in the National Curriculum. There is a worksheet on the escape display for younger students, and one on engines and components for older students. |
