Breaking Lorenz – Enigma’s Big Brother

A specialized talk on codes and ciphers in general and the operation of the Lorenz cipher machine in particular. The mathematical techniques used to break the ciphers are examined. The speaker will adjust the level of mathematics to suit the audience, from KS4 & GCSE to A-Level.
